As we wrap up the 2025 skating season, we want to send a huge THANK YOU for spending time with us at the rink this past year. It has been such a joy watching our skaters learn new skills, make friendships, and build confidence and self-esteem—both on and off the ice. 💙✨ The memories we create together are what make River Blades so special!

Let’s kick off the new year by celebrating YOU on the ice! 💙
Our January Skating Snapshot Challenge is all about skating, smiling, and sharing your favorite on-ice moments throughout the month of January. No pressure—just fun, confidence-building, and memory-making! ✨❄️
📸 Here’s how it works 👇
⛸️ Skaters take 4 photos of themselves ice skating during the month of January, completing each of the fun photo prompts below:
😄 Smiling Skaters – Show us your biggest on-ice smile with your friends
❄️ Winter Vibes – Snap a photo at an outdoor rink wearing cozy gear with a snowy background
⛸️ Skill in Action – Capture your favorite skating move (two-foot glide, snowplow, crossovers, spin, etc.)
💙 River Blades Pride – Wear your River Blades gear OR Hastings Hockey blue & gold colors
📍 Photos may be taken at different rinks or locations
📲 All four photos must be submitted on our Facebook page under the January Skating Snapshot Challenge post
