The ice is calling, the skates are ready, and we have so many exciting things happening this season! From spooky Halloween fun 🎃 to Taylor Swift tunes on the ice at Swiftie Skate, our magical 20th Anniversary Ice Show ❄️, and of course our festive Skate with Santa event 🎅, there’s something for everyone.

✅ Yes, we DO have classes this weekend — even with MEA break.
🚫 The only weekend off this session will be Thanksgiving Saturday, November 29.

Hosted by the City of Hastings & River Blades Skating School
Calling all Swifties and Kelce fans! Join us for a magical day on the ice at Swiftie Skate — a Taylor Swift-themed skating event at the Hastings Civic Arena.📅 Date: Monday, December 1 (No School for Hastings residents)

👗 Ice Show Registration & Costume Measurements
📅 Saturday, Nov. 15 | 9:30–11:30 AM
This year’s Spring 20th Anniversary Ice Show theme is “Dreaming of Disney.”11/15 Register your skater and have them measured for their costume during this time.
Registration forms will be available soon!
✅ Rehearsals begin in January, taking place every Saturday before 10:00 AM.✅ Dress Rehearsal: Friday, March 6✅ Ice Show Performance: Saturday, March 7
🎅 Skate with Santa Costume Try-On
📅 Saturday, Nov. 15 | 9:30–11:30 AM
All Skate with Santa participants will try on their costumes at a designated time (schedule coming soon).
Amanda will provide most costumes; some skaters may be asked to bring items from home.
Please save this time block for costume fittings.

Performing Classes:
LTS #1 (Age 5+), LTS #2, LTS #3, LTS #4, Pre-Alpha, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Jump & SpinPlease confirm with the front desk by Friday, October 18 that your skater is available to perform-if they are unavailable we need to know either way. Skaters will learn a short routine in class skating skills from their level will be included. If your skater is not able to participate our student instructors will teach them while the instructors work on the routine.

🏰 Disney On Ice Tickets
We’re planning a River Blades group outing to Disney On Ice! ✨
Amanda will email a group ticket discount form soon.We’ll organize group tickets for the Thursday evening and Saturday evening performances.Note for competitors:
If your skater is competing at White Bear, we recommend attending the Thursday night show since the competition schedule hasn’t been released yet.
